WHAT IS AN INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPIST? Simply, it means I view human suffering and growth through the lens of a few philosophies, such as person-centered, internal family systems, and existential philosophy. I focus on concepts that bridge human suffering with self-discovery such as: intrinsic motivation, meaning, multiplicity of the mind, freedom, the core self, congruence, responsibility, and choice. My work often entails helping individuals discover who they are, why they are here, and where they take a stand.
BIOGRAPHY I come from a lineage of dogged survivors, healers, and artists. We’re multi-dimensional thinkers, neuro-outlaws if you will, who had to self-create on the edge of chaos and order. I was born in Argentina and raised in America. Like my mother and father, I was a gentle and unassuming child. In high school, I listened to grunge and assembled an art portfolio. In college, I led research studies and philosophized with teachers. Since then, I’ve focused on the art of healing. My interest in psychology stems from my personal experience living through relational trauma, navigating the aftereffects, and my natural affinity to console.
EDUCATION + THEORETICAL ORIENTATION I am a trauma-informed clinician with a person-centered approach that is grounded in internal family systems and existential analysis, as well as somatic, dialectical, and expressive techniques. I specialize in identity, anxiety, and relationships.
I have a M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and have received my undergraduate degree in B.Sc. in Psychology and Philosophy.
